With JA Happ doing so well they are discussing trying him eventually in a closers role. With Lidge struggggggggggling it might be a better fit down the road...

I think he would be dominant in a closer role, might keep him in baseball longer too.

Yeah Happ was interviewed on Baseball Tonight last night and they asked him about it. He said he was just gonna do what he's been doing but you know it's gotta annoy him since he's doing so well. 8-2 now and with Cliff Lee in the line up that rotation could equal another WS win. I think the closers role would be good for him. If he'll accept that.

Dang, the GM said Happ will stay which could put Moyer out of the rotation for now. Apparently they will insert Pete and make it a 6 man for now. Like you said if they don't make it to the series that will be a huge choke. Cliff Lee is lights out right now
