Bryce Harper

If you haven't seen info on him...possibly the best high school prospect ever. At age 16 hits 96 on the gun, and has hit 500 ft homers. Projected #1 overall pick when he turns 18.

harper has announced he's quitting HS, getting a GED and going to JUCO. he'll be eligible for the 2010 Draft. Boras just wet himself.

Man imagine holding that lotto ticket right there. It would be exciting to see some phenom roll into the MLB and dominate. Someone to rival Pujols. You're starting to see this as a trend for HS kids with alot of talent. I know there is a basketball player in HS that is probably going to do the same thing but go play in Europe first.

Yeah, he's insane. Kid would have had to be working out as a fetus to be where he is naturally.

Wow, now this kid is quitting high school to enroll in a community college aka getting ready for the 2010 draft. If he follows through he is already projected to be next years overall #1 pick.

I wish I could just fast forward 5 years and see what this guy is going to do. I remember when I was in high school Arod had the same hype. I was a freshman, he was a senior at Miami with his team #1 in the nation and I was reading baseball america articles about him hitting bombs at will and fielding balls between his legs during games.

....or will this guy be another ben mcdonald, brien taylor...one thing we do know he is going to get paid PHAT!!!

that's for sure. if he never gets a single hit in the show, he's gonna be a rich mofo.
