Wow Tommy John's surgery already? I guess I can buy him some lunch over at the Andrew's Institute here soon. I didn't feel like the Nationals were pushing him with too many innings but maybe I was wrong. Basically his 2011 season is already shot so I'm ratcheting back my expectations for this guy quite a bit. TJ surgery is not a deal breaker and some guys come back throwing harder but definitely not a good thing to have him under the knife so soon. I guess we'll see in 2012.
