Future Roid HoF candidate: Eric Gagne

So who will the next inductee to the Steroids HoF be? How bout former reliever extraordinaire Eric Gagne. This excerpt comes from wikipedia

"On December 13, 2007, Gagné was listed in the Mitchell Report — former Senator George Mitchell's report on steroid use in baseball. Gagné was identified as a user of HGH (Human Growth Hormone).[17] Allegedly, Gagné received the drugs from steroids dealer Kirk Radomski. At first, Radomski said that Gagné obtained them from Dodgers teammate Paul Lo Duca, but then Radomski said in the report that he mailed two shipments of HGH directly to Gagné in 2004. Receipts of FedEx and USPS shipments indicate that Radomski received at least one payment from Gagné and two from Dodgers teammate Lo Duca on behalf of Gagné. Gagné declined to meet with Senator Mitchell to respond to the charges before the report was released."


Man if Lo Duca is wheeling and dealing the HGH then you can just about believe anybody will I guess. Sometimes I don't think I've totally grasped the amount of players that have played around with this stuff. Gagne goes from most dominant reliever in the league to a joke that gives up more runs than Borowski. Just come on out and admit it Eric...

Man that guy lost about 10 mph off the heater. Even Steve Avery thinks that guy fell off hard

True stuff, Gagne went from the a perfect season, never blowing a save ( if i remember correctly) and a lights out season with the sox in 04, to being unable to get anyone out. course, when your best pitch is your change, and your heater goes in the shitter, that's to be expected.

yeah, now he just has 2 change-ups which isn't fooling anyone..not to mention high walk totals because he is scared to groove one.
